More medals were awarded during MEDAL’s final conference ‘New Challenges, Novel Approaches’. Keit Mõisavald of the University of Tartu interviewed these recipients of the ‘Star ECR’ medal.
The bronze medal went to Magda Matetovici (MPI) for her talk How similar are language skills among family members in early childhood? A systematic review of nuclear family associations, and to Annika Kängsepp (University of Tartu) for her talk Variation in the Case Forms of Indefinite Pronouns: A Multi-Method Approach Combining Corpus Studies and Eye-Tracking.
The silver medal went to Hasan Dikyuva (MPI) for his talk Negation in Turkish Sign Language: A Corpus-Based Analysis of Manual and Nonmanual Markers.
And last but definitely not least, the gold medal went to Loïs Dona (MPI) for her talk The role of the face in language emergence.
