MEDAL admin: Institutional visit Tartu-Nijmegen
On 25-28 March staff from Tartu will pay a visit to their partner institutes at Nijmegen: Radboud University and the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics.
Funded by the European Commission (EU Horizon Europe programme; 101079429) and UK Research and Innovation (101079429), MEDAL is a collaborative initiative designed to enhance expertise in data-driven linguistic methodology. It supports early-career researchers through mobility grants, fosters collaborative research, and provides training in linguistic research methods and soft skills. A key aim of the project is to strengthen Tartu’s position as a leader in linguistics research by facilitating knowledge exchange with partner institutions.
The visiting team includes leading academics and administrative staff, representing fields such as phonetics, digital linguistics, psycholinguistics, and institutional development. This visit will focus on sharing best practices, developing new research collaborations, and strengthening ties between the partner institutions.
