Liina Lindström is Professor of Modern Estonian and Head of the Institute of Estonian and General Linguistics at the University of Tartu. Her research focuses on morphosyntactic variation and dialect syntax with an emphasis on corpus linguistics and digital methods. She was the director of the University’s Center for Digital Humanities and Information Society from 2018 to 2022.
She is a member of the MEDAL steering committee and the head of the MEDAL work package for Institutional Development.
