The future of the Estonian language

On August 12th 2023, part of the MEDAL team in Tartu participated in the yearly Estonian Arvamusfestival, which directly translates to ‘Opinion Festival’.

The Opinion Festival is held every year in Paide, Estonia, and in 2023 it particularly generated a lot of discussion! The question that was debated was What is the future of the Estonian language?
